In the world of religion there is no shortage of "WTF" moments, or common misconceptions. But there are many things the devout assume incorrectly. And then there are downright crazy items of information that you wouldn't believe. Let's take a look at some of the more shocking religious facts, in this case mainly relating to Christianity:

Nobody who was alive during the period of Jesus' supposed lifetime, ever wrote a single word about him

Not a single person who would have been alive during his lifetime appears to have known or written anything about the charismatic cult leader.
